Primary Education in Andhra Pradesh

The education department of Andhra Pradesh has played a vital role in improving and developing primary as well as secondary schools of Andhra Pradesh. From the previous few decades they have launched many projects and schemes to promote the school education and to increase the literacy rate of the state. There main aim is to reduce the drop out rate of girl literacy rate in Andhra Pradesh which they have achieved to the maximum extent by opening new Kendriya Vidyalaya especially for girl students.

Andhra Pradesh houses around 69561 schools that includes elementary, senior secondary schools, secondary, pre-primary and primary schools that makes primary study in india awesome one.
